SummerFridays

We asked some local US bloggers to tell us what they do with
their Summer Fridays and how we can make the most of this Summer in the States!

Summer Fridays are one of those sunny perks that we dream of all year long. While not all of us are so blessed as to have the summer Friday, for those of us who are lucky enough to clock out early, we know just how wonderful those extra sunny hours can be.

While there are many ways to fill that extra time (and you know you want to make the most of it), I have my own bucket list of activities that I’m planning on getting through by the end of the summer, most of which involve finding a beach.

1.Watch THE SUNSET

There’s nothing more beautiful than to watch the colors paint the sky as the sun sets. Grab a few friends, chill with a couple of cocktails and watch the spectacular view.

“There’s nothing more beautiful than to watch the colors paint the
sky as the sun sets.

2.DiscONNECT

Summer Fridays are a time to indulge in a fully appreciate the moment, which isn’t necessarily something you can do if you’re busy checking emails or browsing your newsfeed on your phone. I plan on taking this time to fully appreciate the “Do Not Disturb” function on my phone and spend time with those I care about most; including myself.

“You can’t deny how wonderful a nap feels. I’m all about the lazy Friday, lounging on the beach and taking a quick nap.”

3.TAKEA Nap

You can’t deny how wonderful a nap feels. I’m all about the lazy Friday, lounging on the beach and taking a quick nap. Plus, napping is good for your alertness and helps to increase productivity. Just make sure you apply an extra dose of sunscreen before falling asleep to avoid any painful surprises when you wake up.

4.BeachBBQ

While this one is pretty self-explanatory, I must specify that it must include S’mores.

5.Reconnect WITH FRIENDS

Life has a way of flying by so fast that the next thing you know months have gone by and it feels like forever since you’ve seen your BFFs. A summer Friday is the perfect time to grab your closest friends and head for the beach for some much needed
bonding time.
