Standard Competition Rules
Only one entry will be accepted per person. The closing date for receipt of competition entries is 25 October 2011.
The competition is only open to UK residents over the age of 18.
Entry to the competition and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to use any winner’s name, image and any competition entry photograph, for promotional and/or editorial purposes without additional consultation.
This competition is not open to employees of Hearst Magazines or our competition partners or their direct family members.
The winner/s will be selected by representatives from Reveal magazine and boohoo.com from the entries received. Entries must supply their design on a blank piece of paper or on a downloaded template from boohoo.com and also attach their CV. Entries in the incorrect format will not be considered. Entries cannot be returned.
Only the winner/s will be contacted personally. The name of the winner/s will be available by sending a SAE to Hearst magazines, Reveal/boohoo competition, 33 Broadwick Street, London W1F 0DQ.
Entrants must be available to travel to Manchester for a fashion photoshoot which will take place on Monday 14 November. Photoshoot prize includes travel expenses and overnight accommodation (if necessary).
The design internship will be paid for one year and based in Manchester city centre. The start date is flexible. If its a student they will have to fit it around term dates etc. The internship prize does not include accommodation or travel expenses.
Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred although Hearst magazines reserve the right to change the prizes in the event of unforeseen circumstances. There will be no cash alternative.
Hearst magazines does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
Hearst magazines’s decision is final in every situation, including any not covered above and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them. Hearst magazines shall be permitted to exclude any entrant at any time at its sole discretion.
Where Hearst magazines runs a competition with a promoter such that the promoter is responsible for the selection and/or the provision of prizes then Hearst magazines shall not be responsible for or have any liability for the provision of such prizes. If there is any conflict with these rules and the specific competition rules then the latter take preference.
