The name of this stone originates from a popular legend in Madagascar. It is said that when dragons died, their remains turned to stone and settled at the bottom of the sea, forming Dragon Stones. These stones feature a unique blend of yellow, golden brown, and black, with a touch of grey. Composed mainly of calcite, aragonite, and grey limestone, the stone is formed from marine sediments during volcanic eruptions. However, its distinctive nature also reveals a variety of other materials, including hematite, flint, jasper, dolomite, and pyrite.
