The name of this stone comes from a popular legend in Madagascar. It is said that when dragons died, their remains became ossified and settled to the bottom of the sea, where Dragon Stones were formed. These stones have a remarkable mixture of yellow, golden brown, and black, with a hint of grey. They are mostly composed of calcite, aragonite, and grey limestone, created from marine sediments by volcanic eruptions. Due to its unique nature, Dragon Stone can also contain hematite, flint, jasper, dolomite, and pyrite. It is considered the perfect stone for those seeking knowledge.
