Case in point is the recently released Porsche PTC 911, featuring a mag-wheel-inspired rotor design that may have you spending more time looking through the sapphire crystal caseback than at the actual time. The titanium case is glass bead blasted and polished, with a screw-down solid titanium caseback. The fixed silvertone titanium bezel surrounds a black analog dial with silver-tone hands, indices, and Arabic numerals. A date scale is positioned on the inner ring, while additional functions include hours, minutes, central seconds, a 24-hour scale on the inner bezel for a second time zone, and a day-and-night display at 9 o’clock. The strap, made from genuine Porsche vehicle leather, is black calf leather with black stitching and a titanium push-button deployant clasp. The sapphire crystal features a hard coating, is scratch-resistant, and has sevenfold anti-glare properties on both sides for optimal readability. A screw-in crown enhances water resistance, and the watch is powered by the Porsche Design Calibre WERK 04.1, offering a UTC function with a 24-hour and date display via hands from the center. This COSC-certified movement has a 38-hour power reserve and is water-resistant up to 10 atm (100 meters/330 feet). The case measures 42 mm in diameter and 14.9 mm thick, while the strap is 26 mm wide and 8 inches long. Made in Switzerland, model 6023.4050.01072, all measurements are approximate and may slightly vary. Men's watch bands can be sized to fit 7.5-inch to 8.5-inch wrists, with extra links available through the manufacturer. Automatic movement winds with the motion of your arm, though it is recommended to wind the watch every two weeks. A screw-down crown creates a water-resistant seal; to adjust settings, unscrew the crown counterclockwise, pull/push into position to set time and date, and screw it back clockwise to close.
