The recently released Porsche PTC 911 exemplifies this, featuring a mag-wheel-inspired rotor design that may have you gazing through the sapphire crystal caseback more than checking the actual time. The titanium case is glass bead blasted and polished, with a screw-down solid titanium caseback and a fixed silvertone titanium bezel. The brown analog dial showcases silver-tone hands, indices, and Arabic numerals, with a date scale on the inner ring. Additional functions include hours, minutes, central seconds, a 24-hour scale on the inner bezel for a second time zone, and a day-and-night display at 9 o’clock. The brown calf leather strap, crafted from genuine Porsche vehicle leather, features brown stitching and a titanium push-button deployant clasp. The sapphire crystal has a hard coating, is scratch-resistant, and includes sevenfold anti-glare properties on both sides for optimal readability. A screw-in crown enhances water resistance, and the watch is powered by the Porsche Design Calibre WERK 04.1, offering a UTC function with a 24-hour and date display via hands from the center. This COSC-certified movement provides a 38-hour power reserve and is water-resistant up to 10 atm (100 meters/330 feet). The case measures 42 mm in diameter and 14.9 mm thick, while the strap is 26 mm wide and 8 inches long. Made in Switzerland, model 6023.4050.03072, all measurements are approximate and may slightly vary. Men's watch bands can be sized to fit 7.5-inch to 8.5-inch wrists, with extra links available through the manufacturer. The automatic movement winds with the motion of your arm, though it is recommended to wind the watch every two weeks. A screw-down crown creates a water-resistant seal; to adjust settings, unscrew the crown counterclockwise, pull/push into position to set the time and date, and screw it back clockwise to close.
